How to eat
Boil plenty of water.
Put the somen noodles in a colander and drain.
Put the noodles in the water and boil for about 1 minute.
Remove the noodles from the colander and cool them in icy water.
Serve the cold-cured Soumen noodles with cold dipping sauce.
You can use your favorite dipping sauce for cold Soumen, such as mentsuyu, soy sauce, or salt. It can also be topped with tenkasu, green onion, red ginger, etc.
